A socially conservative organization based in Sacramento filed documents Friday afternoon to start a voter referendum on a controversial law; the law requires that the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons is added to school instruction.
Sen. Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, who introduced the Senate Bill, said he was not surprised that the institute, which he called “extremist,” took this step.
“I think it will be a challenge for them to get the signatures,” Leno said.”If they succeed in that, I bet Californians” reject it, he added.

And when the vote is 72% against public school instruction on the history of transgender heroics, will you, Leno, call yourself an extremist? No, you will blame Fox News, Ronald Reagan and everyone you perceive as hating Harvey Milk who died because he was in the way and not because anyone cared that he was queer.
