Firenze Sage: Senator of the people [Kerry & Fenway Park]

“Sweet Caroline” sung again at Fenway Park, Boston
Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” is an iconic part of Boston Red Sox tradition.
The song is played and sung at Fenway Park during the eighth inning of every Red Sox game. Secretary of State John Kerry, who served as a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts from 1985 to 2013, could not properly name the song. Instead Kerry called the song “Sweet Adeline” while thanking the New York Yankees fans rendition as a tribute to the victims of the Boston bombing.
