 Outgoing President Barack Obama has transferred 10 prisoners from the U.S. military detention center in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba to Oman on his way out of the White House.

As of 10:30 AM Monday, the Pentagon had not announced the transfers as it has consistently done in the past. The identities and nationalities of the prisoners remained unknown at the time.

Only 45 remain in GITMO, down from 242 when Obama came into  office.

‘Free speech’: UC Berkeley profs tell chancellor they want Milo appearance canceled

Approximately 100 professors at the University of California Berkeley have signed on to a letter asking the school chancellor to cancel the February 1 appearance by conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.

According to The Daily Californian, the January 3 letter originated with a dozen professors who deem Milo’s conduct “harassment, slander, defamation, and hate speech,” and as such violates the college’s code of conduct.

Nearly 90 additional profs have signed on since.

“We believe wholeheartedly in free speech and in the presentation of views that may be controversial or disturbing, politically or personally,” said David Landreth, one of the 12 who composed the letter (and whose “main expertise” is materialism — “in its Marxist, ancient, and ‘new materialist’ manifestations”).

“However,” he added, “Mr. Yiannopoulos’s public talks routinely veer into direct personal harassment of individuals; they often also call for such harassment and aim to incite it.”

Hundreds of illegal immigrants living in Oregon are expected to protest Trump.  Illegals are expected to protest  at the State Capitol against expected tighter immigration enforcement under President-Elect Donald Trump. This  supposedly will  occur  just days before Trump’s  Inaugural Address.

Over 500 Oregon residents and illegal immigrants are expected to attend the event, according to the Portland Tribune.

U.S. Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) and U.S. Rep. Kurt Schrader (D-OR) will also be in attendance at the rally.

The open borders organization One Oregon asked residents to “denounce Trump’s agenda of hate and exclusion” by joining the protest.

“We must unite to stop Trump’s first 100 days of hate,” One Oregon officials wrote in a news release. “We call on Oregonians, community organizations, and our local elected leaders to join us.”

The group objects to Trump’s immigration plans, which includes building a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico southern border, reducing legal immigration levels, and deporting criminal illegal immigrants.

He is the harbinger of even more climate catastrophe, deportation, discrimination, and endless war. If we let his inauguration go unchallenged, we are opening the door to the future they envision.

Some notable famous words Obama spoke: 1)  “red line”,  2) “jayvee team” and 3)  “if you like your plan you can keep it”.

If you like your plan:  The first votes for ObamaCare repeal happened Jan. 12, 2016.  The Senate passed 51-48 a budget resolution that allows a simple majority to roll back much of ObamaCare. And on Friday the House followed voting 227 to 198 for the budget resolution.  So —  in 2017 Americans will get to choose their medical care again.  Hopefully.

Red line:  Obama’s  empty threat, the “red line” over use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime, gave a green light to Russia to increase its support of Assad, gaining a precious naval base in the Mediterranean and thereby altering the balance of power in Middle East waters.  And unleashed even more war on Syrians.

Jay vee team:  Remember  reference to ISIS as the jay ve team?  Not worthy of having to really deal with them?  Obama’s comment was way off mark:

Matt Lauer  (so we hear)  was in tears when Barack Obama awarded Joe Biden the Presidential Medal of Freedom in a surprise ceremony Thursday.

“I’m glad there were no cameras in my apartment yesterday because I was just sitting there weeping,” Lauer said Friday morning on the “Today” show. “I just burst out crying when I saw that moment.”

Obama is the greatest according to Obama’s last speech

obama-aaaa So what did Obama really  accomplish?  To listen to Obama he thinks he’s the greatest.   You can listen to all of it below.

Obama got the largest applause  — very lengthy — when he said that he opposed discrimination against muslims.

Crime? What’s the Obama legacy on crime?   How about  black crime in Chicago  where Obama delivered his farewell address to America?  In 2016 there’s some 3000+ dead blacks killing blacks in Chicago, Ill.

Obama’s wonderful qualities?  Obama mentions himself 80+ times in his  last speech.  Just a tad narcissistic?

Race relations?  How many people voted for Obama thinking that  race issues would improve?  That flopped.

Reach across the isle? No.   ObamaCare was created by Democrat Nancy Pelosi and who ignored Republicans and ultimately zero votes were cast by Republicans for ObamaCare. Obama spent the last 4 years spewing out one Executive Order after another. Those may evaporate just as quickly as they were created.
