Citizen outcry against lock down, mask wearing, fines in Santa Cruz County

Citizens  assembled and spoke against the lock down, against wearing masks and  why they dislike possible   fines for not wearing masks.   The Board of Supervisors in Santa Cruz County CA listened.

‘No masks!   Don’t criminalize people! Put masks on the  criminals  Gov. Newsom let out  of prison &  return  those criminals  to prison’ !

‘That cheap anti-malaria drug  hydroxycloroquine  works fine!’   ‘Masks keep people   from breathing properly!’

Such were some of the comments by residents of Santa Cruz County to the Board of Supervisors.

Live-streamed  on the  Santa Cruz Board of Supervisor’s Facebook page,   some  8-10  persons spoke  strongly 8/4/2020  in opposition to requirements to wear face masks and fines for not wearing them.  Click HERE to access live stream for Santa Cruz County CA Board of Supervisors.

A few more quotes from people speaking to Santa Cruz County’s Board of Supervisors 8/4/2020:

An older man said:   There’s no peer review double blind studies done that support wearing masks.    Anthony Fauci  MD originally said not to wear masks.  The Surgical General wrote 3/31 that masks are detrimental to our health.

‘Various  MDs have lost jobs and had death threats related to use of the anti-malaria drug hydroxycloroquine  in conjunction with zinc and other medications.  Instead of the cheap anti-malaria drug,  MD  Fauci blesses a drug that costs $2K for a five day treatment.     Gov. Newsom  sends money to Santa Cruz County Health Officer to keep us in lockdown!  residents are waking up and voters will not vote for you.’

Another man:  ‘It’s Victory Day!  There’s 34 studies that the anti-malaria drug hydroxycloroquine    is effective and there’s no need for a vaccine.  The MD’s  who support the anti-malaria drug   were taken off Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.  That’s Big Pharmo influence.   The mainstream media has been taken over.’

A young  health professional:    ‘One in five colds are the  virus. You should  talk about taking enough vitamin D.  Persons with darker pigmentation have different vitamin D requirements.      You are beyond nuts!    I’m ashamed of your  attitude:    ‘Give me safety or give me death’ Do you want to live in a bubble?  My deaf aunt who reads lips may have to.  What you’re  doing,   I’m ashamed of all of you. ‘

So what’s  California’s Democrat Gov. Newsom  done about masks? Remember, CA is the 5th largest economy in the world.   And CA is run by Democrats who believe in  globalization.  Hence, it makes ‘Newsonian sense’ that Gov. Newsom bought masks from China from a company that makes electric cars.  What Newsom did not do is get permission from the legislature before he purchased heaps and heaps of face masks.

About masks in CA:   In mid-April,  CA Gov. Newsom bought one million KN95s facemasks  for $5.5 from a Chinese brand that was on the FDA authorized list but was removed the following month and never added back, according to state purchasing records.    The Wall Street Journal,  FDA’s Mask Standards Shift, Sowing Problems  says that California officials didn’t respond to inquiries about what the state has done about ‘the bad masks’.

_________

Aptos Psychologist:   Lots of people don’t trust what government officials put out as ‘must do’ requirements concerning management of Covid-19.

People are right that each individual/ family needs to figure out what makes sense.  Small children –who can’t read lips and need to see facial expressions — don’t do well  developing language and social abilities with parents wearing face masks all the time.

What say you?   Comments welcome!    DrCameronJackson@gmail.com

Remember — Seattle’s Nakamura U.S. Courthouse named for 20 year old Japanese-American hero

Remember — Seattle’s besieged federal courthouse is named after a young, 20 year old Japanese-American soldier and hero  named Nakamura.

This young soldier in 1942, shortly  after he and his family were interned, joined the Army’s famous 442 Regimental Combat Team  and  two years later  saved his platoon by destroying the enemy’s machine gun nest and covering the  withdrawal of his platoon.   In 1944, Nakamura  lost his life to save fellow  American lives.

Nakamura  was the first Army volunteer from Minidoka Relocation Center (an internment camp) to be killed in action.  In 2000, President Clinton presented  22 war heroes with Medals of Honor;  these soldiers   had been denied Medals of Honor at the time on account of their Asian ancestry.

Aptos Psychologist:  Asian lives matter.  All lives matter.

Annrae Angel or Ari Symons for Santa Cruz judge in 2020?

Annrae Angel says why she — not Ari  Symons — should get your vote for  Santa Cruz County Superior Court Judge in 2020 elections.  Egregious conduct by  judge Symons running a red light    is the issue,  says Angel.

Attorney Annrae Angel  spoke  10/30/19 at the  monthly meeting of  Santa Cruz Repbulicans.

Read  “the facts” of  the Symons case  as  gathered by the CA state    government Commission on Judicial Performance.    The Commission  meets  behind closed doors  and  allows  no questioning of “the facts”  before reaching their “conclusions”. Closed door proceedings without input raise multiple  red flags for me.

Should you,   as I do,  think this Commission has overstepped it bounds, tell them what you think. See the form which you can fill out complaining about a judge.    How to complain to the government entity which appears to target people wrongly?  Petition your government.

Ari Symons said that  she  ran the red light. Think  of the Simon game  many people have played.

Ari Symons clicked the Red and  played  the game straight.    ‘I did it!’ she told people immediately.   Symons   told co-workers  the truth.  She ran the red.

When someone says repeatedly that they did it, that they ran the red light and that the  moving vehicle  violation ticket is their –how can that be a viewed  by the  watch dog  government entity  as a  ‘cover up’ or considered  ‘egregious behavior’?

Rather, overall this appears to be  the Democrats  in Sacramento targeting an individual.   Perhaps it would be better if CA was not run by the Democrats?

Per the “facts” as stated  by the Commission, Ari Symons told  co-workers that  she  ran a red light   that morning.   Some time  later Symons  wrote  letters saying she was the one who ran the red light. Later, things got   muddled between spouse Michael and wife Ari. Not every spouse does what the other spouse wants, correct?  So says Symons concerning overall handling of the red ticket.       Ari Symons   made mistakes how the matter was handled.   Symons   has admitted her mistakes.

Aptos Psychologist:   These facts and the others listed by the Commission for Judicial Performance    don’t add up to “egregious conduct” by  Ari  Symons.

And,  the CA state  government should not get away with wrongful behavior.    Come on, government Commission for Judicial Performance   Do  better! Or disband, re-group,  and  re-fresh your standards.  Don’t target individuals.  Play the game straight.

This entity. the  Commission on Judicial Performance,  meets  in San Francisco Dec. 4-5, 2019 and Jan 29-30, 2020.  Phone:   415 557-1200  FAX 415 557-1266 Three members   of the Commission — Nishimura, Capozzi and Torres — can be replaced immediately as they have exceeded the number of years they can serve.

Tell our state  government   to add new members to the Commission on Judicial Performance  who will act honestly and with integrity.  Make sense?

Kavanaugh’s accuser psychologist Christine Blasey Ford flunks APA standards for psychologists?

Research psychologist Christine Blasey Ford,  Ph.D. flunks  basic  professional standards  for psychologists  –standards  related to fabricating data, deceptive statements and sharing research data for verification?  Take a look.

American Psychological Standards (APA)  standards for psychologists  are not put on  akin to a business suit for   the 8 to 5 day.

For many professionals what they do – whether  doctor, lawyer, psychologist  becomes interweaved with the essence of who they are as a person  and  how they interact  in general  with people.

Read in their entirety, professional standards:  expect  professionals to show care towards all persons equally  and to  provide options and ways for persons to  respond back.    That thinking  underlies   the  professional standards for all psychologists, and  all  medical doctors.   Summed up – do no harm

Concerning  the APA standard for sharing research data for verification:

  • Psychologist Christine Blasey. Ford failed to treat persons equally by a)  failing to notify  all parties  e., President Trump, Republicans, the Judiciary Committee.  She, a Democrat, who  only notified other Democrats.
  • Psychologist Blasey Ford failed to provide her Therapist Notes for general inspection by neutral parties.   Some stories floating around the Internet  say 4 boys  were involved and others refer to 2 boys. Most sources say no names are included in the therapist notes.
  • No highly specific identifiable information is provided i.e., what they looked like, clothing, color of room, how this 15 – 18 year old woman got there or got home (as she did not drive).

What was the  Therapist  Treatment Goals related to the trauma Blasey-Ford says she  supposed experienced 30+ years ago.  Diagnosis is the flip side of treatment.     If you go to a MD and he/she determines that you have a torn ligament and not a broken leg then there’s one treatment and not another.  So what was the diagnosis and   treatment goals – if any —  as stated in the therapist notes?

Aptos Psychologist opines:

This woman, research psychologist  Christine Blasey Ford, fails to meet basic  professional standards.  The standards that  all Ph.D. research psychologists are expected to meet. What standards?   Read the  American Psychological Association standards.  Do no harm, take care in all your interactions with people and provide multiple means for feedback are part and parcel of the thinking that underlies the   APA standards.  Read the specific  APA professional standards — and consider in general what they mean.

Research psychologist measure — carefully –small differences using standardized tests in conjunction with careful, thorough behavioral observations and other information.    Noticing small differences and recording them and  finding commonality  in all of  the information, i.e., how all the data (standardized test data,   various reports from various people, behavioral \observations) fits together.  That’s what clinical/ research psychologists excell at doing.  That’s what psychologists do best.

Research/ clinical psychologist Christine Blasley Ford, Ph.D. fails to meet basic professional standards.
